Sometimes the most engaging way to craft and communicate Vision and Values is to bring a broad cross-section of leaders for an open airing and alignment of views.

Setting the Vision And Values
Leaders have turned to Innolect and its associates when there is a need to redefine and re-establish the organization’s direction and galvanize stakeholders. Often, leaders seek a one-time, big bang opportunity to get the process moving. Accordingly, Innolect has a history of helping leaders and stakeholders set the Vision and Values together:
- Change Strategy Launch. Innolect associates worked with division leaders of a major pharmaceutical company to create a Vision when the division had the potential to play an important role in long-term growth. Innolect designed and implemented an event for 200+ leaders that included: capturing and sharing division best practices; orienting participants to change leadership principles; introducing new leadership and team competencies; and engaging people in a follow-up action plan.
- Values Buy-In. A healthcare product manufacturer wanted to engage 300+ top leaders in a commitment to Vision and Values. Innolect associates designed and managed an interactive “Town Hall”, including audience voting. Goals included: create in-depth understanding of how to “live” the values, and improve manager capabilities for modeling the values.
- “Elevation”
of Workforce Potential. A
Governor wanted to engage state leaders in a Mission to elevate
the quality and external perceptions of the state's workforce.
Innolect associates designed and facilitated a convention for
business leaders, government officials and college/university
administrators. The outcome was: a rationale for legislative involvement
in enhancing workforce quality and perceptions; guidelines for
next steps; role identification; and policy priorities.
Results. In all cases, evaluations showed that the Change Strategy, Vision and Values events exceeded expectations.
